JUL - First in SRCHA Open Bridle |

JUL and Tom heading into the toughest part of the SRCHA schedule are currently in First Place. We wish Tom the best in showing our horse the remainder of the year and anticipate more first places

Though we did not achieve our intended World Championship in the Working Cow we were just one point away from at least a reserve in this event. As a whole the World Show was a success. JUL was a finalist in every class he entered, and finished Top 5 in two classes
We finally show him in the Color Class and he finished 5th in this event
We want to thank Tom Neel and Rick Rosaschi for riding our JUL in thes events

JUL goes to APHA World Show |

JUL was entered in the Oscar Criegler award path at the APHA Workd Show. He was required to participate in four(4) cattle events so we entered him in Heading / Heeling / Steer Stopping and Reine Cow. Mr. Rick Rosachi a friend of Tom Neel's and an excellent Roping Trainer and showman took on the challenge. JUL made it to the finals of the three(3) roping events. Unfortunately in the finals we did not make the top 6 in each group to gain points for the Cattle Award. Thanks Rick for all you did. We learned a lot from the experience, so we look forward to the Senior Reining and Senior Working Cow Horse competitions. OH! he is entered in the color class so we will see how this works out

JUL Perfroms well at Sagebrush Slide - Pueblo, Colorado |

Tom and JUL went to Pueblo, Colorado to participate in the Sagebrush Slide competition.
What is new and news is that JUL was signed up for his first Bridle Spectacular, which means he participated in the Herd work or reined cows cutting. He did very well. He scored 142 for his first outing. This allowed him to finish 4th in his first Spectacular and he finished third in the Bridle Open.

Thanks to Mr. Ryan Putnam of Oakridge, Texas for purchasing this 3 horse package. Mr. Putnam is training in cutting and came to TLR for his horse purchase. Tag will work with him for now, while Gin is training, and CAT will become his futurity prospect. We want to thank Ryan for his purchases.
We expect to hear great things from Ryan as he grows with these horses
